CALL TOPIC: Pass congressional censure of Trump’s racist remarks.
1)Let’s call Congressman Smith’s office in D.C. at 202-225-3765…
Caller: Hello, I am a constituent of Rep. Smith’s. I am calling to express my outrage with President Trump‘s disgusting remarks about Haiti, El Salvador and African nations. I strongly urge Rep. Smith to cosponsor H. Res. 700, Rep. Richmond and Rep. Nadler’s Resolution of congressional censure of Trump’s racist remarks, and state on the record that Speaker Ryan should bring it to the House floor a full vote. While I appreciate that Rep. Smith issued a statement in response to Trump’s remarks, it is not enough. Congress of the United States must put on record that we don’t approve of racism and that when the president makes these kinds of racist remarks, he’s not speaking for the people of the United States.
2) Let’s call our Senators (Booker D.C. 202-224-3224, Newark 973-639-8700; Menendez D.C. 202-224-4744, Newark 973-645-3030)…

I thank the Senator for his condemnation of Trump’s remarks and I strongly urge the Senator to introduce a resolution of congressional censure of Trump’s racist remarks. Congress of the United States must put on record that we don’t approve of racism and that when the president makes these kinds of racist remarks, he’s not speaking for the people of the United States. Thank you.
